We were asked by the client to incorporate Mexican inspired elements into the modern design of their home so their cultural background was a very important part of this project. We hope you enjoy!

The style of the home was also inspired by the variety of materials used in the work of Alvar Aalto, a style Randolph dubs "warm modernism." The brick used here is a Mexican Sand brick, and the wood underneath the overhangs is ipe.

Hi, the wood type is "Guanacastle" it´s like the mexican walnut
The open plan room makes the space feel big but also a small wall creates different areas without the need of a door
