The key is to make sure the gravel is not too small. Some pea gravel or similar can be small enough to catch into the sole of shoes (especially sport / running shoes). I have found that as long as the stones are anywhere from 0.5" and up”

So lead time could be an issue, and they are out of Wisconsin so if you need them to get to your place... there will be a shipping charge and of course that will bump up the final square footage price”
