They just set in place. Perhaps a little concrete under the corners. 1/4" steel. Longer beds over 4' long need a cross tie to keep them from bowing.

decorating of this home.
The goal of the project was to respect the charms and scale of the original historical style without mimicking period details, and create a suitably modern context for the owner’s collection of artwork by Warhol, Haring and Basquiat. While restrained, the interior resolves certain
details. A custom bronze staircase, anodized aluminum metalwork, and overall spatial concerns relate to a contemporary sense of materiality. Most of the details were custom designed, from the marble mosaics in the bathrooms, to the millwork and Prouve-inspired shutters on the kitchen floor. A sculptural
What material is used for the edging here? Love the look of it, modern and clean!
that is a common question and one that my client here posed.
The key is to make sure the gravel is not too small. Some pea gravel or similar can be small enough to catch into the sole of shoes (especially sport / running shoes). I have found that as long as the stones are anywhere from 0.5" and up

“very pretty, dont know the plant?”
“bulbs are planted in autumn. Mine come back year after year.”
“Those are Alium 'globemaster' a type of onion. Unfortunately
majority of the bulbs only bloom one time, so they are a relatively expensive planting.”

needed was a proper layout, lighting, make it fun and functional. Budget was a question so we avoided any contracting work, mixed affordable and expensive items. The outdoor barbecue existed, so I added in a firepit table, RGB led lighted planters and cube stools, purchased aluminum planters from CB2

It's a 11 by 12 ft room which is very limited space. We want to repaint it and add new furniture. What can we do to conserve space, yet kept it stylish and cozy.
This is a really cool patio with the red patio work

estimate of the sq ft cost for the Wausau paving product?
inexpensive of them all that they offer. This is called their Sand Series Paver and is a concrete molded poured cast and weighs in at about 70 to 80 lbs a tile (2x2). So that comes to about 20lbs a quare ft. Make sure your roof can support such a bulky paver. For pricing this paver is one of the most inexpensive
to have a nice flooring for a pedestal application.
Hello Brian and thanks for looking at some of our projects. We love designing/installing Rooftop retreats... its what we do!!....
To answer your question... Wausau has many different types of pavers. This particular paver is one of the most inexpensive
market. a little over $4.00 a square ft, thats very cheep.... but keep in mind they are made to order. So lead time could be an issue, and they are out of Wisconsin so if you need them to get to your place... there will be a shipping charge and of course that will bump up the final square footage price
What is being used to shade the top? Is there a retractable shade and if yes, do you have the product info?
is is a beautiful piece of work, wonderful view too. Good job

It is wise to have a protective sealant brushed on your wood before the harsh winter/summer set in.
If your deck gets a lot of sun exposure, consider using a wood sealant that has a UV protection agents inside
better for a shine.
Wood stains that have a water sealer and UV protections are better for changing the color of the wood.
To protect wood decks or other structures exposed to severe heat and sun exposure, use an acrylic stain with transparent iron oxide or opaque pigments
What a cool sloping "bench"...I think that's what it is?
Make a statement with a big swoop. Have a steep hillside that's impossible to plant? Use it to your advantage by building in a unique curved bench.
another idea of planting a slope

great idea for a curved embankment
Nice patio eating area under a tree.
love the idea of this bench in a spot where nothing will grow and suddenly the hill becomes extra seating.
