Very nice porch. What type of screen is it?
This screening looks quite clear / see-through compared to other screened in porches. Or is that just the picture? What material / mesh size is the screening? We're looking for screen that lets in as much light as possible. Thanks
flexible, but if you go too big the screen is more likely to sag. A large piece of screen is stapled over the framing and then covered with a 3/4" trim piece screwed into the framing. We have found this to be less expensive than creating separate screen panels, but the screen is harder to replace if a section
This is standard metal screening. The photo may have been touched up slightly. I find that dark colored screen with as little shine as possible disappears best. I think metal screening sags less than fiberglass which allows larger panels.

Corrugated roof screen porch - low slope, detached
The wide-open space of this screened-in porch has sparse industrial appeal, from the concrete floor up to the high metal ceiling. The placement of the open walls takes full advantage of the breeze. The space also serves as a dogtrot.
