Hi, we used a recycled Grey Ironbark, an Australian native hardwood. The timber is very dense and hard wearing. It was pulled out of an old bridge in Queensland and re-milled into furniture boards.

The limited color and material palette "celebrates" rather than overwhelms the surrounding landscape. The kitchen counters are the same recycled gray ironbark used throughout the house.
