Is it possible to estimate rough costs for a reno of this kind?
We have an identical project in mind for our 60's ranch and have estimated costs to run between $250 - 450K based on material selection and extent of labor (tear-downs, replacements, unexpected hiccups, etc.)
Can you please provide as much detail as possible about the roof edge trimming? What was used? Sizes? Thanks.
The roof edges are cedar with a bronze metal drip edge.
Could easily be double your estimated costs based on our experience.
yes, costs will vary depending on area, but a good place to start is http://buildimator.com

I would like to know with curved upper windows included. My house roof would be about 30X45
Mark really likes this house because of the barrel roof.
love the ash wood cladding with corrugated iron curved roof
Lease, buy or finance? Solar leases have become an increasingly popular option as a way to defray the up-front costs. Leasing companies will also usually pay for repairs and maintenance. However, a permanent installation not only comes with tax advantages, but it will also likely increase the value of

Wondering what metal roof product you used here? The slope looks quite low and I've tracked down a Vicwest commercial metal roof that allows 1/4"=1'-0" but am looking for some alternatives as well. Thanks!

Can you describe the engineering of the roof over hangs?
Greetings, first of your house is amazing. I am hoping you may be able explain the method of construction for the roof overhangs and how you are able to get such a long span without support columns.
This house is absolutely stunning, could you provide me with estimates of the price per square foot? Thank you for your time.
is part of the equation but I often see overhangs that do not appear to have either support columns or cantilever. Might you be able to provide a roof detail or no somewhere to obtain an example of one similar. Thank you in advance. Respectfully, Kris Sarasota, Fl

Early costs are estimated on a per-square-foot basis, with projects averaging around $200 to $500 per square foot for construction costs only. Of course
