What is the name of the large plant?
We apologize, but the beautiful plant was purchase by the homeowner and we do not know the name.
Window plants: I'd put window plants in a bay window in a living room with lots of sunshine.
Mist the plant with water or place it on a bed of rocks sitting in water. The water in the tray will evaporate, providing humidity for the plant. Additionally, bird of paradise likes to be pot bound; it will bloom better this way. So if you divide the plant or move it into a larger pot, it may take several
problem of a plant that's lacking height while you're waiting and hoping for it to grow: a plant stand, a small low table, a stool of some kind or maybe even a few cinder blocks if your decor (and your spouse?) can handle them. Just don't forget to fertilize so you can send those cinder blocks on their way

"In a 10 foot by 10 foot room, three or four plants is great,"
Add plants. You can get a psychological boost from adding plants, as long as you don't go overboard. You don't want a jungle-like setting. Remember: if it’s hard to pick out danger, it will be more difficult to relax. "In a 10 foot by 10 foot room, three or four plants is great," Augustin says. "You
have 50 plants in the same room, you’ve basically re-created a jungle."Easy houseplants to try

Add an appropriately scaled architectural element. Large palm leaves and other tropical plants could eat up most garden statues like a Venus flytrap gobbles insects. This urn's simple shape does not distract

of the plants creates a stunning effect. The fluid movement of the grasses paired with the compact rigidity of the agave and yucca play against each other’s characteristics to create visual harmony. Simple backdrops of hedges allow the more ornamental varieties to advance to the foreground.
