Perfectly design and a interesting space concept

How would you reach the books? I can just see my daughter climbing up there to get Dr. Seuss.
I am thinking of doing something similar, but am wondering how do you reach the out of reach shelves?

Not a question but a comment. It's beyond cool, practical, efficient, we have closet that is underneath the stairs going upstairs. The closet door is opposite the steps, the closet door is a full door height and width. Inside the ceiling tapers down as you walk in towards the back
next to a hallway and has a full wall like this one. I'm wondering if I can do this and would it be harder or easier considering the open space of the closet that is on the other side of this wall. I hope I haven't confused anyone.
These stairs are amazing, they look perfect for the space. I love everything about how you've designed them. I'm just wondering what kind of material the vertical safety bars are made out of and how do they attach to the ceiling? Thanks!

tell you that the project was designed and built by Modus Architects (you can find them on Houzz). Perhaps they can help you further.
The photo was taken a couple of years ago so I can't recall conversation about the type of wood or any details. The project was designed by Modus Architects (you can

Mark, It's a board. The photo was taken a couple of years ago so I can't recall the width, but my guess is that it's a planed down 2X6. It looks great, and it's a pretty simple railing. The project was designed by Modus Architects
meet building code in many places. You usually need some kind of cap on top of the glass for safety purposes. Just something to keep in mind when designing a glass handrail, check the building codes firs so you won't be disappointed in the one that you can have. ; )

Beautiful!!! How much space do these needs need to reach the top landing?
Dark hardwood floors flow throughout the entire house. The choice of floor had been their biggest design dilemma, Anna says. "I wanted lighter and my husband wanted a dark wood floor. He won, and as much as I hate to admit it, now that I look at the final product, he was right."An open-ended staircase
staircase leads into the kitchen, family room and foyer. Waiting by the front door is a piece the couple picked up at a local design store. The piece represents the Chinese Chongqing Dog, a powerful and muscular natural guard dog. The figure acts as protector of the house, but don't tell their dog Jackie!

"Not only does the subject add context conceptually, it also allows the viewer to 'feel' the space," says design photographer Cynthia Lynn.Although I wouldn't want to encounter a dark, indistinct figure while making a midnight snack run to the fridge, the subject
