Yes, Andy Goldsworthy made these three sculptures....or no we just had someone copy his work. I believe it is the latter for the shapes are more squat than his signature shape. Which is it..
Would be cool to try and build one of these out of the Tyndall stone in the yard. Winding up like an igloo.
The Andy Goldsworthy "eggs", the stone walkway, the surrounding woods
this type of stone would look great w our brick
By way of sculptural rock formations, egg-shape designs have even found their way outdoors.
There is no question that these three rock formations add mass to this meditation garden. Clearly, these pieces are man-made, but because they were built from native stone rather than from metal

Are these stairs made of wood or stone?
door track - warehouse and sculptures
Stone transition to stairs with wood treads
railing and the open risers continue the open theme, and the circular stone sculptures create a strong contrast to all the straight lines.Stairs: Bella Stairs; sculptures: Michael Dawkins Home
Play with organic textures. "These sculptures were chosen to relate back to the organic elements throughout the
Interiors. "The general concept was to bring the outdoors inside through the use of natural materials and textures. And the organic textures of the sculptures soften the starkness of the stair design."

What is the beehive type structure of stone's significance? Is it open inside? Curious about ethnic roots?
What type of stone are the stairs? Is it a local/native field stone. We are in NH wondering if this stone might be available here?
This site is located in the mountains and has multiple natural stone outcroppings. The fog and mist that come through this area give it a mystical feel. This Cairn is not open inside. You can visit the link below if you want to know more about them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cairn
