Floor-to-double-ceiling windows in the living room look onto the bustling Bucktown neighborhood through gauzy roman shades. The oversized chairs were designed by Kara Mann and upholstered in a polyester/viscose tonal stripe fabric by Pollack Fabrics.

Where can I buy the window apron?
I understand that the window apron is custom how is it made
I really like the window apron too - and have an underground basement with similar small windows. What was your objective with the aprons? What were you trying to achieve?
trying to say is that condensation may occur on ductwork if humidity levels are too high in basement. For instance, last summer I opened my basement windows to introduce some fresh air which unbeknownst to be was humid air and in turn produced condensation on the cold duct work. I hope that helps.
It was done for several reasons. First, it functionally provided a flat shelf at window (current sill was sloped) for books/artwork. Second, it provided warmth to a cool wall/area by use of stained wood. Lastly, it created an interesting

I only sell the window coverings in this picture, so I don't know what the wall color is. Shaker Beige by Benjamin Moore is a similar color, though.
