climate of famed garden Les Quatre-Vents suits this old dwarf pine tree. Perched on a dry-laid stone wall filled with alpine plants, a white painted concrete planter hosts a single pine, most likely put in decades ago. With a touch of summer watering and some thoughtful pruning, this pine nonchalantly
frames a magistral vista of the surrounding fields. Restraint is the only way to go here.

midas touch, pink rpomise, olympiad, enchanted evening, wild blue yonder
fruity fragrance... Midas Touch , only grows to 1 mtr tall
Try 'Midas Touch', a strong yellow hybrid tea rose with 3- to 4-inch blooms from early summer to midfall. This is a smaller rose, growing only 3 feet tall and wide
'Midas Touch', a strong yellow hybrid tea rose with 3- to 4-inch blooms from early summer to midfall. This is a smaller rose, growing only 3 feet tall and wide, so it's perfect for the front or middle parts of your beds. Grow it in zones 7 to 10.
a good choice too for PP
roses are a large bunch, with scents ranging from apple to citrus. I love these roses because they seem very fresh and clean, marrying well with other scented flowers. Great mix of plants, flowers and vegetables
love the feel of the landscaping
My favorite house in Ptown! Can't believe there is a pic of this
It is a great idea for my front yard
l0ve this for front of home!
spring and summer garden. That way you'll make room for your cooler-weather plants. • Remove any plant that is dead, including spring and summer annuals, like petunias, impatiens and vincas.• Get rid of your old summer vegetables that are no longer producing, like tomatoes, summer squash and summer greens
to have a lawn. Having a garden is much better for the environment than a lawn!
This front yard in Provincetown, Massachusetts mixes perennials, annuals, cutting flowers, and herbs. I'll take this over a lawn any day!

"recreate" a pool scape that you will love for a fraction of the price. See the transformation: http://edenmakersblog.com/?p=533 Photo by Shirley Bovshow EdenMakersBlog.com
incorporate a fire pit in that space?
Beautiful! Can you tell me what type of flagstone did you use and how you went about getting such large pieces
take this a step further if you will indulge me please Shirley.......Can the drip irrigation system be set up such that rainfall can be captured (gutters, etc) in a (barrel!!!???) holding tank of some kind and then controlled in the distribution through the landscaping. We're planning to build and it seems
built a beautiful large fireplace for the area directly left of the pool area!

purchased from a local artist on the side of the road - the artist doesn't have a company name or contact - his work is beautiful! Corynne
Charm on a Summer Campsite in Alabama (1 / 24) You can hear the Little River from the screened-in porch, Glenn and Carter's favorite room. Filled with locally crafted outdoor furniture and string lights, “it is a great place to sit and visit on a summer evening,” says Carter.
Not fond of the base at bottom of perimeter - too high and plain
I like the accessibility of this look, not just designed for celebrities, but for everyday people. It's cozy and comfortable and rustic
makes for a comfy eclectic look
Imagine this as the southwest corner of the Tyler Street basement. Windows on west side could be secured with a sliding barn door for an inexpensive, but super secure closure. Metal bifold shutters across the south side.

like this a lot. It's under consideration
5. Raspberry. Yes, I know raspberry is a fruit and we've just talked about fruity scents, but it's raspberry. Any flower that smells like a raspberry deserves a separate mention, in my opinion. Take a look at 'Moondance', a stunner that by virtue of its color

White blooms with creamy centers appear in early to late summer, reaching heights up to 5 feet and widths up to 4 feet. Grow

Need a good design of 3 bedroomed bungalow high roof with master bedroom lofted with a balcony
Is this door wood or metal? How could a wooden door be used like this & be protected from the elements?
Which type of color should be used for exterior wood articles?
We are looking to fence in our backyard, but I'd like something a little different (plus we have 2 growing BIG dogs)
What is the door size? Is it a 2'6" x 6'8"?
photos of older colonial type and semi modern homes?
You should sell cards with this picture! This is gorgeous! Better yet, sell pictures of this!
no question, just a comment how beautiful is this
adding a pop of colour to one or two articles such as the door in the picture will add interest and draw the eye to that feature or entice the viewer to explore another part of the garden. When decorating your outdoor space many of the same rules apply as with inside the home. Just think of your garden

kind of glass did you use for the ceiling?
Was this custom design or can we purchase a system for the roof?
I want a screened porch for summer and glass for spring and fall
We use a sail cloth shade to difuse the direct sun on the clear roof section on any very hot summer days.We don't attempt to heat the porch on cold days. We've added white outdoor drapes under the deck section for a touch of privacy , but they do very little to alter the temp. Thanks, the homeowner
We got the system out of Portland Oregon but I don't have the specific company name. It is a poly-carbonate canopy. We hope to one day be in Seattle too!
system from a manufacturer out of Oregon and they were able to replace the panels if broken however they are incredibly strong so we don't anticipate an issue. There is a deck on the second floor so they can reach the panels to clean them from above.
