The beautiful landscaping was done by Jason Osterberger Designs.
Thank you for viewing our photos. Many of the decorative items were found by the homeowner who worked with Becci Meier Architectural Design Services to achieve the desired design aesthetic.
The landscape design was done by Jason Osterberger Designs, and as such we wouldn't be able to answer questions about the individual plant hardiness. However, this home is located in Dallas, TX where the average minimum temp extreme is 10 to 15 degrees F, as compared to Northern Ohio extreme of -10 to
to - 15 degrees F. (USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map -- ...) We recommend discussing with a local landscape designer/specialist to ensure your planting is the right fit for your climate. Hope this helps!

Who designed built the gate? This is exactly what I want to secure the beezeway to our patio courtyard!
We designed the gate. I believe 12th Avenue Iron in Seattle fabricated it but your local custom metal shop could also do it. DA
historical reference and use of a zaguan to separate inside from outside, I really find it lovely when the feature is used in a more contemporary architectural design.Of course there are differences between the historic and contemporary zaguans. more generous transition. Still, the zaguan shows us how modern architecture can be rooted in historic forms, and how these forms can have new life breathed into them.Next: Many Cultures Make Their Marks on Mark on Mediterranean Design

grasses and shrubs in front yard modern design
While cottage gardens are remarkably adaptable, somehow a fluffy yard of roses doesn't always work with a more modern architectural design. Grasses, especially those with a mix of colors in their flower heads, make a great, slightly more contemporary substitute.
