What did they want to achieve by doing that side to side canal on the table. Just design?
It has a pump that pushes water up to middle of the table and flows over to both ends. The water is then recirculated up through the middle of the table. Hope that helps!

Renovated woodburning grill with custom console table fabricated from architectural salvage and a bluestone slab.
The stone grill was built in the 1920s and we restored it. It had a tree growing out of it when we got there! The side table next to it was custom made from a vintage balcony railing found at a salvage yard.
