Most of my quarter acre has large trees growing on it which block way to much light and make it a pretty dark place. So much so that
good for shaded areas! Maybe back corner??

is the shade sail attached to?
answer. The shade is simply attached to the existing, high and old walnut tree with a sisal rope on one side and on the house, it is attached with a standard metal clip, usually used for climbing (look in stores for mountain climbing or sailing). Hope we helped, sorry again for the late answer. Very best from

look. The shade cloth over the eating area provides shelter but isn't distracting. And in this climate and location, in the shadow of the Julian Alps, afternoon showers help keep the garden green and lush.

Black-Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta) This staple in the summer-to-fall garden features sunny daisy-like blooms with dark centers on top of tall, coarse stems. Although it's attractive to birds, bees and butterflies, all parts of this plant are poisonous, so be aware

Love the purple bulb looking flowers!
Soothing shaded garden, like the pompom flowers
variety of purple bulbs and tubers. Alliums, which come in a number of different shades of purple, are always a good choice, or you can go crazy with a mix of purple tulips. Irises, with their many different shades of purple, are always a garden stalwart, but also consider the various purples offered by early
partial shade; the USDA recommends planting them in a location on the north or east side of the house, to keep the soil more cool. Moist (but not wet), loose soils are best. How to plant a birch tree:• Dig a hole about three times the size of the root ball. Make sure the soil is loose.• Loosen the root

is the purple flower clumps? Beautiful.
The purple looks like it might be catmint, but you could also achieve that effect with russian sage. The light pink flowers on the edge are dianthus, and I agree with Helen that the dark pink looks like thrift. The really dark deep pink flowers a little further back are peonies
, the purple spikes are Catmint, Nepata 'Walker's Low'.
Hi Folks, the plant with the large purple spikes spilling into the path is Catmint, Nepata 'Walker's Low' the hot pink globes in the lower left corner are Armeria maritima and the lighter pink is Dianthus, though I can't remember the variety
