Design Workshop: Reasons to Love Narrow Homes
the linear adaptation of the design
house, designed by Cottam Hargrave, is a glass box that is accessed through an opening in a concrete wall. While it's a freestanding wall, not a retaining wall, the concrete surface acts as a backdrop for much of the house.
The result is a grand home with views that stretch along an expansive window
makes this design a winner: 1. silhouetted plants against the perimeter wall; 2. uplighting for evening drama; 3. a flame source (fire pit); and 4. the continual ground plane in the form of decomposed granite. Depending on where you live, the floor of a side courtyard could be poured concrete, concrete pavers
feeling of a contemporary art gallery, with a handful of objects and plants breaking up the empty corridor. The overall effect is that of a still-life composition viewed from inside the house, which is similarly furnished in a spare, uncluttered style. The lesson here: If you’re attracted to this type of garden

to re-design the entire space. This is an awesome look. I like the decking as well. This is a kool idea.
ergonomically designed seating and jetting that a shotcrete or like type spa/hot tub 99% of the time simply doesn't. The acrylic type spas/hot tubs that you are referring to as plastic, can be ordered to your specifications, not so "stock" these days! Choose your model, jet package, acrylic color, cabinet color
of that design (not necessarily big decking) cost? I have always had a pool and am building a new house sans pool, but would consider a hot tub tastefully done
