I had already started plants in pots. I want to make sure the cedar planters can withstand the New England winters, so do I fill them with soil or keep the plants in pots?
I'd like to have a vegetable garden using planters like these. How shall I plan for water drainage? It's also a great spot because (I think) I can keep the deer and rabbits out by having a gate at the top of the stairs that lead to it.
this would work to keep varmits out of the garden and close to pick the ripe stuff
