Funnel breezes through your property. Plant a row of trees on one side of the house and a wall on the other side of the house, to create a wind tunnel. This will encourage stronger cooling breezes through the property and around the house. You can also plant a grove

long do you think the tree trunk will last before it succumbs to rot? I have a huge tree tree that is coming down this coming summer (too close to house) and thought about doing something similar to this.
Stunning tree house and what a clever idea to make it look organic.
Love the tree house/gazebo with the flowers, perfect

Pool & Pool House
Pool & Pool House Stowe, Vermont This mountain top residential site offers spectacular 180 degree views towards adjacent hillsides. The client desired to replace an existing pond with a pool and pool house to be used for both entertaining and family use. The open site is adjacent to the driveway to
privacy at the pool without obstructing the beautiful vista from the entry drive. Working closely with the architect we designed the pool and pool house as one modern element closely linked by proximity, detailing & geometry. In so doing, we used precise placement, careful choice of building & site materials

to get cost for the play house totally completed - other option
First love the play house. Do you have a layout of the first and the loft? The laddler that goes to the loft can a regular steps put in with railing? Does the playhouse com decorated as shown? Does the house include the furniture as
as shown? If I decide to get this house, what needs to be done in the area the playhouse is placed?
you, I am glad you like Birdie's nest. I am sorry, I do not have a layout for the play house but it is simply 5' x 11" and 13" high. The loft is one third of the upper space. There is not enough space in the house for a regular set of stairs but ladders can have rails too. Everything about and in this

Is the greenhouse connected to the house? Or is it freestanding?
It is freestanding. Thank you for your question.
No, this was a pre-fab kit we shipped from Great Brittain. I don't know if the company is still in business but it wouldn't hurt to google "pre-fab geenhouses" and see if they pop up in your search.
Snow White... This resembles a fairytale place! Love your garden.
Start by googling online for your general location...or use yellow pages. Ask some area architects or contractors.

Could you kindly tell me the manufacturer and color of the dark stain on the house.
I have a contemporary cedar house from the 80's like this one and would love to stain my house this color.
Thank you so much for your reply. The house is beautiful.
We started with Cabot mix of Semi transparent, and semi solid slate grey. We always tweak it in the field with finish samples. This can be your starting point, but you should test finish samples with your wood material before committing
dirt getting in to the pool, grass is rare around pools. EasyTurf, however. is perfect for pool sides! You get a soft, lush, green lawn surrounding your pool with no chance of debris making it to the water. Check is out at www.easyturf.com and let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! George

James, your work is wonderful. I am curious if these are fiberglass or aluminum
Identify the pieces within your budget. Clients often don't identify all of the pieces of the budget. Sure, the largest piece might be the construction costs, but there will be many other costs. They can include land costs, legal fees, moving, decorating, landscaping
architectural fees, permit costs and financing costs. At the outset, identify all of your potential costs and assign each a value. It would be a shame to finish the house but have no money left for landscaping or furniture.
