Gorgeous... do you recall what you have planted in the planters on
porch? Any insight is appreciated as I am looking for large scale shaded plants for my planters.... thank you!
Actually, I take no credit for the plants in the containers as my client planted them!! I think they are coleus and begonias and abutilon
That is Japanese Forest Grass - hakonechloa macro 'Aureola'. Best in part shade. One of my favorite plants!
I meant the plant with light green almost yellow leaves spilling onto the pathway

Love the wall. How is the structure created to support the plants. Is this a system that can be purchased ?
How do you plant a wall like this? How is it watered?
Can you plant edibles on a wall like that? I have a small yard and would love to plant a vegetable/fruit/herb garden.

Rowayton, Manhattan, Larchmont, Bedford Hills, Armonk, Massachusetts) Coloful planting beds, thanks to Fairfield House & Garden Co. for building these!
Do you remove the bulbs when you plant the vegies or plant around?
The flowers in this picture don't last that long. What is planted in the beds the ret of the year? I know the stems have to stay a while
We plant the bulbs for the spring and then remove them after they flower to make room for the veggie garden. Hope that helps!
We typically plant vegetables during the summer months! Thanks!
thing about bulbs that keeps them from being the perfect no-fuss plant: You have to plant them at just the right time. Come spring you may find potted containers
