Mine Road Farm - Exterior
My husband and I are currently considering purchasing a stone house. The current owners indicate no central air is needed because the house stays cooler in the summer and warmer in winter than wood structures. (Location is on the Connecticut shore). Has this been true
true in your experience? Also, the house is 200 years old - what is the most authentic roofing material?
Our 140 year old stone house does stay much cooler. But once humidity gets inside it seems to hold it in much more. We do have central air and used it maybe 3 weeks this summer
Really love this house!!! Stone, colours steps, railing trees porch windows
