Why does the Thymus serphyllum Red Mother of Thyme look purple?
Was it planted from flats or seed? Also what are the tall dark red flowers on the right in front of what I think is ceonothus? It's all so beautiful!
serphyllum is planted in 4" pots 18" on center in fertile mulch. It is important to prepare the base by cleaning out the existing bed of all weed stock by Roundup or hand removal. Once the bed is smooth and graded to 3" below the finish grade, apply preen or corn gluten as a pre-emergent before applying

can you tell me the color and brand of stain on the red floor? thanks
solid stain sanded down to give it a distressed look. It isn't a stock color, it was a custom color mixed through our local paint supplier Hirshfield's. The directions we gave them was to match a stain as closely as possible to the red in our company logo! Good luck and thanks again.
Love the red floors, windows, accents. Sleeping porch idea.
