Hi Nikki, There are several factors to consider. 1) What the article is; i.e., furniture, fence, door, accessories
as the door in the picture will add interest and draw the eye to that feature or entice the viewer to explore another part of the garden. When decorating your outdoor space many of the same rules apply as with inside the home. Just think of your garden as a room without a ceiling. Cheers, Rick
The door, one of two found in the basement of our old house, was original to the house. This one was used as a side entrance door to the basement and is an odd size - 32" X 73".

Is this door sturdy enough to us as an actual gate or is it just for looks. I need to replace my gate and I really like this idea. I also have dogs so is this something I could do instead of the same old gate everyone has?

A wood form was first build under this and then removed after the keystone was replaced.
for this door, however, Shermin-Williams has a paint color similar called Honorable Blue. I'll continue to keep my eyes out for you!
