retrain me. I love that the slate nuggets don't get stuck between my toes and Mom's really happy now that I don't drag mud into the house! ... Bailey the dog. Photo by Danna Cain
I have only had one project where coyotes where a major concern and threat for clients 2 small dogs. Research showed that coyotes usually dig rather than jump over fence. So, at that site, 2' of wire fencing was buried at the base of their privacy fence. Large metal hooks were used to hold it down. Since
the wire fencing was buried it wasn't unsightly. The client reports that she has not had any issues with coyotes entering the property, however, the 2 dogs are not left outside overnight, so possibly there isn't sufficient "prey" for the coyotes to want to try very hard to enter. I've heard of great success

"My play lawn is just the right size for an old dog like me. I still like to fetch but I have no desire to run too far. When I'm ready to relax, this lawn is lush and cool, unlike the old one. My landscape designer put down several inches of good garden soil before planting this fescue sod. Dad tells
it was also important to install the automatic irrigation system. I thought that was a special game that Danna designed just for me! " ... Bailey the dog Photo by Danna Cain
