love the use of mirrors outdoors...
Pulling the mirror outside brings an unexpected indoor element and the gravel clearing gives the dining nook a sturdy landing pad.
If you have a small garden, this space gives you a great excuse to play with design. Try adding special details that you'd normally find indoors to increase the sense of space
space. Mirrors are a great way to create an illusion that the space is larger than it actually is.

I was thinking of getting one large mirror for our informal dining room but i love this idea! Where did you get those mirrors?
The mirrors are from a company that is no doubt out of business. I found them about 20 years ago. But, here are three ideas that might help you achieve that look: 1. Shop in antique malls for old mirrors or 2. take a photo of these mirrors to a local frame shop. They can help you create that "collected"
framed mirrors with different types of moulding. 3. If it's the "recycled wood" look that is most important, try to find a custom wood worker. They should be able to reproduce this look.
I like the use of mirror and sconces.

Just wondering what you used to adhere mirrors to wall? Also over time have you had any issues with them staying on the wall? Thanks
as the mirrors can make a spec look bigger and brighter. :-)
I used a professional mirror installer I think he used some sort of silicon - no issues so far after almost 2 years AC

Love mirrors used in the garden this way. I want to do this to our fences. It "blows holes" through
glazed with mirror reflecting the greenery along the edge of the path? Nice trick, eh? (I love the "guardian" goats flanking the door/gate. They add a whimsical touch, making what might otherwise be an intimidating facade very approachable.)

love the daybed and wall decor
Wall's color inspiration for a recently updated screened-in porch began with the blue Thomas Paul sea-life pillows arranged on the iron daybed she picked up at an estate sale. As a Pisces, she says she finds herself drawn to water themes in many of her designs. Coral and octopuses decorate the iron and
sofa," Wall says. "When I saw the daybed, I knew it would work on my screened porch. I loved the lines and the fact that the faux leather cushions would withstand the inevitable moisture in the air. It was my decor jumping-off point and directed the design in the rest of the room."She dry brushed the
