If you don't know the proper technique to clean wood with a power washer, don't learn on something like this. Hire someone who does

I believe we used zinc plated lag screws with epdm bonded washers (fancy name for washers with a rubber backing). We used the bonded washers to avoid corrosion between the corten steel and zinc lag screws and to also give a little room for expansion.

The porch ceiling is painted Tongue & Groove wood. Unfortunately, we do not recommend a power washer as there are recessed heaters in ceiling. Hope that helps!
