of the Wausau Sand Series... pros.... Less expensive cons.... Heavy, staining of tile if not sealed annually, lead time, not to void warranty need to use their pedestals, Wausau does have many different lines of tiles and some are very inovative and unique to the industry. inexpensive of them all that they offer. This is called their Sand Series Paver and is a concrete molded poured cast and weighs in at about 70 to 80 lbs a tile (2x2). So that comes to about 20lbs a quare ft. Make sure your roof can support such a bulky paver. For pricing this paver is one of the most inexpensive
Hello Carylon, The floor on this project are called Wausau tiles. This particular flooring is called the sand series. They are on a pedestal system and have a little weight to them. Each piece weighs in at about 80 Lbs. But that transfers to 20 lbs per square ft. which is not

What type of wood was used on the wall?
Very curious about the construction used on the wall. Any other pictures? And what's the opaque material in between? Love that detail!!

Beautiful courtyard! Brand/name of the gray tiles? Thank you!
Glad you like the project. The gray tiles are a granite from India, though I don't know the exact product or source. A similar stone is called Pietra Cardosa.
Hi Vinci | Hamp Architects, I love your designs! In your "Wicker Park Residence" pictures, may I ask what grey wall color do you use the room in the fireplace? Looking forward to your answer. thanks in advance!
I like the trees and tile combo

Great finish on the fireplace wall could I ask what it is?
It looks like a Travertine or a Crema marfil same family of Tile with a different finish. Price range should be from $2.99-$6.00 for 24" x 24". try to stay away from larger tiles, it's a softer stone and larger tiles tend to break easily. Must be sealed after it's installed, it has a tendency to stain
