We favor Green Giant Arborvitae due to their pest / disease resistance and deer tolerance. Grasses are predominately morning light and fountain grass.

Like this picture, most of the pictures I see of beautiful pools don't have any safety rails. My pool contractor says that he has to install them for inspection, but can remove them afterward
afterward. Is that specific to some locales, or is it because of the particular size/depth of this pool that there's no rails? Or did the owner choose to remove them afterward?
Safety rails are an issue of local regulations, design and Owners' desire. This pool has grand stairs across the shallow end and the design intent lead to no rails. Today we have many more modern rail designs available so if they are required/desired they
