Screened porch and pool
There is tile in the sunroom. How do we transition it if we do tile? I REALLY want wood, but afraid too much wood . Suggestions? Thinking of quartz countertops, possibly two separate colors. Also what do you think of a banquette in the corner? Thank you in advance for your help.

So sorry for the delay in responding to you Tina! I am only just seeing your message. The floor in our photo from the Terranea Resort & Spa is also hand made cement tile by Granada Tile. The pattern is St. Tropez. I have attached a

What do you like about this photo? Tiles
Tile can pull off colors where carpet never could. If this room had blue wall-to-wall with a blue and yellow accent carpet over top it would be too much. When it's rendered in cement tile however, it's just right. So what do you think? Where might cement tile find a place in your home?

Is this floor an example of the Versailles tile pattern? If not, what is this patterned called?
The floor is a blue slate tile.
Can you tell me what brand the tile is. I am in the middle of a project and this is what I am looking for. Thanks.
Is the flooring a tile product or a stone?
I like the idea of adding two sets of big french doors off of our garage to the patio. Also want to add slate tile to our garage

we put tile over cement floor in Northeast climate
We live in upstate NY and have a screened-in porch off our home (built in 1925). I just am not loving the cement floor and would like to use tile/slate. He says no, that it will crack etc because of the cold winters. What are our options?
slate or tile- needs to be porcelain not ceramic. You must install with the proper type thin set to take freezing temp. such as Mapei Kerabond & Keralstic.
