I would say that darker tones of timber and red tones probably will go better with neutral cupboard colours. Wheras if you have a bright coloured kitchen then I would go with lighter yellows for floorings. Lighter = Tasmanian Oak and Blackbutt. Darker = Brushbox and Bluegum. Red = Jarrah. The other

In order for the kitchen to serve the back porch, I designed the window opening to be a glass garage door, with continuous granite countertop. It's perfect.

What is the white piece in the middle of the brick on the fireplace below the mantel?
It probably is because of the width. Generally off the shelf BBQ hoods max out oat 60" width. Beautiful kitchen and man what a veiw.
