I like to use wide wooden blinds when they feel right for the space. Allowing exposure of the view with sun control is optimal.
If using ipe on our deck floor, it still works if we enclose it as a porch later on

do you have mfg for the underlayment used under the metal?
Hi Debra, The Cor-Ten steel roofing at the entry porch does not have underlayment since it is open and therefore vented from below. When we used this material over the insulated/conditioned spaces of this project we specified a spacer to hold the steel above the sheathing, and building paper
