My client had the white plantation shutters which was a great base to build upon. The full height white draperies soften the feel, making it feel more feminine; plus the added benefits of room darkening. Jamie Snavley

I don't like to used a matched pair of night stands, finding it much more interesting if the night stands are similar but different. Then using a pair of lamps is fine. The mirrored night stand adds light / reflectance and can make a small room seem bigger. Jamie Snavley

I generally find corner fireplaces awkwardly placed, but they seem to work well in bedrooms where you don't need lounge furniture placed around the fireplace. For a more glamorous and feminine look, we used alot of reflective materials in the furniture and accessories. Stacked birch logs add interest to an otherwise empty firebox. Jamie Snavley

Room and Board's "Encore Sleeper" allows for the 3 back cushions to be adjusted in 3 positions. This version shows one of the back cushions folded flat. My client's existing colorful area rug worked perfectly in this area. The small tree trunk nesting tables are easily moved around the room as needed for various uses. Jamie Snavley
