Chang + Sylligardos Architects is a design-oriented architecture and interior design firm based in Boston. We are committed to design excellence with the utmost concern for responsible, creative and sustainable solutions to our client's programmatic and budgetary requirements. We design distinctive projects and environments for discriminating private and institutional clients.
Our architectural expression is not dogmatic, but innovative and challenging within the context of the project parameters, and always reflects the collaborative relationship between client and architect. We are very interested in the challenges inherent in reconciling historic properties and significant architectural details with modern requirements, lifestyes and construction. The interiors we design are infused with a "textured modernism" - open and flexible spaces, combining a modern palette of materials and colors, often juxtaposed against more traditional details. In our practice, we relish the opportunity to engage landscape with structure and to carefully consider the siting, physical attributes and cultural influences of a project site.
Chang + Sylligardos Architects is a wife and husband directed firm founded in Los Angeles in 1992 and re-established in Boston in 1996. We welcome your inquiries and interest in our firm and would be pleased to provide additional firm information and client references.
