Company Background
Boston-based ZeroEnergy Design was founded by five partners: Emile Chin-Dickey, Jordan Goldman, Stephanie Horowitz, David Wax and Ben Uyeda. Our educational and professional experience encompasses architecture, mechanical engineering, finance and business management. Our diverse team of experts seeks to transform the green design market from environmental niche to mainstream.
ZeroEnergy Design has challenged traditional notions of green design, such as ideological clichés and environmental rhetoric, by integrating performance simulation techniques with 3D visualization. Our scientific and calculated approach has resonated with customers and caught the attention of prominent companies, such as General Electric and Autodesk. Our unique collaboration between architects, engineers, and financial analysts drives our competitive advantage; it allows us to deliver impactful architectural solutions unobtainable by other firms.
Since 2005, ZeroEnergy has been designing high-performance homes for clients across the US and internationally. Clients include individual homeowners, builders, and developers. Other project types have included project visioning and LEED and energy consulting for residential and commercial developments.
