FR James Construction Inc. is a general contracting firm based in Mill Valley, California founded by Jerry James in 2003. Our projects include home repairs, kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions, and whole-house structural renovations. We provide our service in San Francisco, Marin County, and the East Bay metropolitan area. At the preference of our clients we provide our design/build service or follow the design of the project architect. Committed to the environment, FR James Construction has received a Certified Green Builder classification from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
FR James' team often includes a number of subcontractors who perform specialty trades on our projects. We enjoy long-standing relationships with many of these veteran professionals. On smaller jobs we may handle more of the specialty trades with our staff alone. Their primary trade is carpentry. That's the trade that bridges the entire project allowing us to maintain a site-presence from start to finish. This presence allows us to manage the entire construction process and all of its players. All of our carpenters are mature, highly trained professionals who will ensure that everyone involved with the job-site, especially the owner and their home, are always treated with respect.
