A small space deserves just as much attention as a large space. This powder room is long and narrow. We didn't have the luxury of adding a vanity under the sink which also wouldn't have provided much storage since the plumbing would have taken up most of it. Using our creativity we devised a way to introduce corner/upper storage while adding a counter surface to this small space through custom millwork. Staircase - transitional staircase idea in Charleston

A new tub was installed with a tall but thin-framed sliding glass door—a thoughtful design to accommodate taller family and guests. The shower walls were finished in a Porcelain marble-looking tile to match the vanity and floor tile, a beautiful deep blue that also grounds the space and pulls everything together. All-in-all, Gayler Design Build took a small cramped bathroom and made it feel spacious and airy, even without a window!
