This homage to prairie style architecture located at The Rim Golf Club in Payson, Arizona was designed for owner/builder/landscaper Tom Beck. This home appears literally fastened to the site by way of both careful design as well as a lichen-loving organic material palatte. Forged from a weathering steel roof (aka Cor-Ten), hand-formed cedar beams, laser cut steel fasteners, and a rugged stacked stone veneer base, this home is the ideal northern Arizona getaway. Expansive covered terraces offer views of the Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish designed golf course, the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in the US, as well as the majestic Mogollon Rim and Stewart Mountains, making this an ideal place to beat the heat of the Valley of the Sun. This beautiful MossCreek custom designed home is very unique in that it features the rustic styling that MossCreek is known for, while also including stunning midcentury interior details and elements. The clients wanted a mountain home that blended in perfectly with its surroundings, but also served as a reminder of their primary residence in Florida. This "His" and "Hers" master bathroom is the perfect mix of masculine and feminine. The Glam comes in through the sparkling glass framed mirrors, silver jewelry-like pulls and the luxury of double shower heads and bath with hand-shower. What makes Him happy is the use of natural materials such as travertine and driftwood, clean lines and the ample, easy-to-access storage. What makes Her happy, here is no more clutter on the counter with everything within easy reach. Another great thing about this bathroom is the neutral finishes would be equally beautiful with peaceful blue-green walls or fiery burnt orange ones.
