This is gorgeous! Love the details! It makes me feel like I'm in Vienna on the set of, "Sound of Music"... Love the old look added to the stone.
Do they clean the mortar a little bit at least to make it not look rough?
That stone is called Chopped Granbury, from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area in Texas. It was laid in a thick mortar joint with a slight 'smear' to try and make it look old. Hope that helps.

Outdoor kitchen area was designed in stone and wood, following the initially set material choice. The outdoor dining area is close to the raised wooden deck for sitting. Incredible views are present throughout the garden. Minimal design does not try to over shout surrounding beautiful nature. / design

Further out the design bleeds into native landscape. The kitchen design is fresh, reinforcing the updated vernacular

color and make of shingles on this home
Can you please tell me the color and make of the shingles used on this house?
Wow: Make a window like this in the middle
The repurposing of materials gives you a special connection to your home. I love to tell people that the glass in my kitchen cabinets came from my 106 year old windows. Or that I found my front step in a salvage yard where it sat after being scavenged from entrance of a

Provide cover over entrances. A sheltered entrance makes it safer
2. Make it colorful. One of the great advantages of using wood for a screen door is that it can be painted as you'd like. So go ahead and paint the door the same color as the trim so the color ties all of that nice detail together.

How to make it your own: Preserving the integrity of original architecture is a good practice, regardless of the style. What

better than that other one because of the trim. As a general rule I like three colors on a house. Of course you need trim work to justify that but it makes for a rich look.
Love this design. Very Bakenish. Could make the center areas solid in the middle (maybe fireplace) with big opening doors on both sides of the center and on both sides of the barn - breezeway
rustic. relaxing. and the country makes me feel I'm home. Awesome vacation house.
Consider layout except that front porch is full length of the house . Bedroom on opposite sides. Living, dining and kitchen in the center of the house
