what kind of wood floor is that?
how were these floors finished? Will this pine wear out quickly because pine is such a soft wood? People have tried to steer me away from using it.

What type of flooring did you use?
house is paneled inside with 7" barn siding. Want to use the barn wood as flooring in the actual house. Should it be milled for tongue and groove, or left solid? any other suggestions. thx

feeling together! Btw, the renovators (2 owners before us) also removed the same wall on the other side of the stairs, so it's very open floor plan. I enjoy it, who cares if it's true to the period? Times change!
