River House
Where does the venting go? A contractor told me that it needs to be vented from below the unit (I have a raised foundation) to the outside of the house (wall). AND if this is correct what size does the vent need to be? 4", 5", 6" ?? PLEASE HELP
I have a second oven in my perimeter counters as an electric oven wih gas cooktop. My ovens are seperated as I have 3 adults daughters and we need room to cook those holiday dinners. That and the Kitchenaid vents hot air in front so two side by side baking at the same time would heat me out of the
cabinets also works, and it allows you to keep more counter space as well as opposed to having a tall cabinet. Also, some kitchens just don't have the room for tall cabinets, which can make a kitchen feel smaller.

is the floor plan or the outside photos of the house posted anywhere
I like how open it is and the black countertops give it a modern feel, along with the stone flooring. It's opened up to the living room which makes it feel bigger and the island is a helpful touch. The wood gives it a smooth and polished feel to it.

I like these two flooring materials together. Brick pavers in kitchen; wood throughout main level house.

individual window unit. We flipped the location of the awning to the top on the opposite side of the house. This allows the owner to open both sets of windows and use "the stack effect" to keep the house cool and fresh in the summer.

Tri Color Kitchen
I'm building a two-story house with barn/shop on the bottom with living quarters (3200 sq.ft. house) on a very high upper level. There is no access to clean the windows on that level so I'm putting in tilt windows throughout the house. I want to do backsplash windows in the kitchen
like ceiling angle, cabinets, lightness in color, ability for light to enter room
I like that the cabinet under the sink is kinda different making it more like a piece of furniture; it adds a little something "extra" to the room.
