The water fountain kind of reminds me of my own.

Stone courtyard, water feature, big pot
Spanish finca. The large stone animal trough makes a great water feature. To create your own little patch of Spain, grow pots (or a trough) of desertworthy succulents. If you don't have lovely sand-colored stone walls, paint a surrounding wall in a rich mustard yellow or a warm terra-cotta red. Use iron
actually in Phoenix, but you'd think you were on a Tuscan patio with this amazing stonework. Both the water feature and urn are strong enough elements to not be overpowered by the surrounding walls, and their relative simplicity makes them stand out even more.

Can you please tell me the name of the stones and where you got them? I am looking to do something similar on an exterior retaining wall. Thanks so much!
requirements to install the stone on the back wall? Like how was it grouted sealed ect? any special requirements behind the stones ect?
I got a feeling they didn't think that far ahead re: how to clean/maintain it :( The stone and tile would stand up to water okay, but seems like soap scum and detergents
I am very intrigued by your use of the rough stone wall in a shower. Is there any special technique required? What is the backing? Is this showerhead still available and if so, where?
interested in the stone wall; what kind of material is used to "grout"? How do you keep that clean as well? Where do you purchase the stone?

Idea for wall leading down to pool
Different roof levels. Stone retaining wall and the steps down the slope to the water. Wood reveal in the roof as it plays against the glass farcade.
Falling Water - Frank Lloyd Wright
With a MUCH SMALLER pond/water feature?
I like the idea of the retaining wall
retaining wall from overwhelming the view. The natural rock provides an interesting contrast to the modern architectural lines. Climate matters. In California and other dry-climate areas, a lake like this would not be sustainable unless it was a collection pond holding and filtering water for irrigation
Water feature on hill. Red hot poker flowers
Angular stones and falling water but at a much smaller scale, and less jumbled, for the backyard.
cool design, like the white water coming down the stream

Does the stone in the water lead somewhere, or is it just for display?
The water is a great aspect!
How do you keep the water from freezing in a moutain climate? There is no evidence of steam vapor, as would be the case
case with heated water. I`m puzzeled and delighted by the overall effect!
The water is heated to slightly above freezing along with heat tubing in the wall and shallow pond basin
The wall reminds me of a castle
Stone lower, wood upper. Any way to incorporate water???
