Sauté Pans

103 Results
If you’re not sure what the difference is between a saute pan and a frying pan or skillet, you’re not alone. While you can use these pans interchangeably, there are slight differences that distinguish one from the other. Your saute pan features straight, vertical sides, as opposed to a skillet’s curved sides that flare outward. These tall sides are perfect for searing meats or brewing up sauces — you’ll be able to fit more pieces in the pan and won’t have to worry about anything spilling over the sides. Interestingly enough, despite its name a saute pan isn’t nearly as efficient as a skillet when it comes to sautéing foods, however it still more than earns its place in any kitchen.
