I purchased similar branches but a bit smaller in diameter...they look the same otherwise..same texture and twists and organic shapes......they were from the Amazon rain forest or imported from someplace like that....they are actually large vines.
I am ape in love with this look--the way it was, the way we were, the wonderful feeling of --security, but with a view outside, the feeling of being "in" the place, and not "on" it
The couch on the right looks comfortable, but the chair!
Love the natural look of the
down. This cottage has kept a color palette and textures inspired by the coast, but mixed in mid-century modern furnishings. The result is a fresh contemporary look that is still comfortable, with plenty of room for gathering.

the living room.we have just bought a fire surround in oak and would be most grateful if u could advice me on what colour to varnish it,or what would look ok with pine.the living room walls are painted in cream.thankyou
the room looks narrow...do you have the measurements from the headboard wall to the TV wall?
Martha, From a design perspective, the carpet looks lovely. Is it a personal preference to do carpet vs hardwoods? I have just redone my bathroom in a white cararra marble and I have to replace my carpet
Our designers would suggest either staining the oak a dark, coffee color which would look great with your cream walls or even painting it white would help bring a clean, fresh look to your space! Hope this helps! Martha O’Hara Interiors www.oharainteriors.com

Where can I find the round end table? I am looking for one similar but in black.
similar to this one and we are also picking out trim. What is your advice on trim? Someone told me the more simple it is the more up to date it will look. Do you agree?
Do you have a front view of the couches? They look beautiful and would like to see the whole couch.
How high are your ceilings, and what is door and transom height please? These dimensions look great!
they look like urchins by Oly designs! Very pricey. For a similar (smaller, more modern) look with a budget in mind take a look at Dwell Studios --they have some decor "urchins" in white and metallics. Not quite the
appear lighter when looking at a computer screen. The only way to get know what it ill look like is to get it up on the wall... there are big differences in the way it appears depending on the lighting as well. Im trying to pick a color for the bedroom and the difference between looking at the paint chip

for cleaning plain old "water&soap" is the best, durability you are looking at least 8-10 years as epoxy is well known for years for its "durable wear and tear" this is why you see terrazo, epoxy flooring on high volume traffic
White shiny floor - very polished look
very glossy. also interesting how the grey carpet is subtle but still an accent. also notice how nice the wood table legs hitting the floor look. Does the table get set off because it is dark and the floor/walls/chairs are all white?

It looks so bright and elegant!
Just eyeballing it: the treads look close to 4', the interior radius about 3' plus 6" each stringer. Add up and you're looking at an 8' radius... 16' minimum each way, roughly.
Everything. White, clean, space, scale fresh exquisite. N

Need to get an idea of what our 7m wide room with garden-view will look like with 3 windows like these, or should we go for one sliding door super-window.
Hi! I'd like to use BM White Dove to paint all my trim, however my windows (the vinyl part of the panes) are bright white vinyl. Would White Dove look okay with the bright white vinyl panes as long as the rest of the trim (baseboards, door etc) is White Dove? Also i'd mimic the White Dove flat for
state design work? I could of course send dimensions, blueprints etc and I do have a contractor. My ceilings are only 8' and cannot be raised. Is this look still doable? Thanks so much!
I have just put in beautiful Fr. doors along the back of my cape house in Sag Harbor. They look fabulous. I need to know what trim would be the most appropriate. I like the simplicity of the ones in this photo. "Craftsman" doesn't please me
