Did you use Ipe wood on porch floor? If so, was it done tongue and groove or with spacers? It looks as I'd the porch might get wet during rain storm.

Are these gutters copper, or painted steel? We're building a house with black window frames and are trying to figure out what to do about gutters, since copper wears to brown and won't quite match.

Adler home was formerly a Princeton Eating Club and was moved to its current location in the early 1900's. Our Princeton archtiects designed this front porch addition to restore the home to its original grandeur while also adding a second floor master bath and separate entrance hall.
Was it restored (sanded then painted) or is it new wood siding? Is so what material/siding did you use?
