This foyer was updated with the addition of white paneling and new herringbone hardwood floors with a walnut border. The walls are covered in a navy blue grasscloth wallpaper from Thibaut. A navy and white geometric patterned stair-runner, held in place with stair rods capped with pineapple finials
Can you please share the shade of the hardwood flooring at the top of the staircase (the hallway). Does it match the lighter flooring in the foyer or the dark staircase? We will be attempting the same look too! Thank you!
I am painting my stair treads black, yours look amazing. I also have lighter floors. Did you just paint the 13 steps and lest the top the lighter color? Is the rule, just where the carpet actually covers the stair tread? Thanks
