The balusters are 1/2" x 1/2" square steel pickets. They support a 1 1/2" x 3/8" steel railing, which is capped with 2" x 3" or 4" mesquite (not sure which dimension was ultimately used). Not sure

is added right on top of drywall. I have seen this done with solid wood (although rarely) but an edge-banded veneer would likely be the most common. A 1/4" veneer is applied to the entire wall with the rectangular panels added on top. It is not difficult to do for a skilled carpenter. Talk to your interior

Those stairs are 4' wide. To go to 6' the glass would need to become quite a bit thicker, like 2 1/2". Other than that, other elements could remain the same
stairs are 1 1/2" laminated glass, tranlucent wall, not between steps but glass wall surrounding steps, could be clear rather than opaque?
Typically the stringer is cut to provide a base for each step, or tread. Steps need to be perfectly equal in height; even a 1/4-inch difference can cause trips and falls.
