Hi. Thanks for the question. Those are beautiful draperies. Unfortunately, I don't think I can give you
you any tips on their construction, other than they are made out of a cushed velvet fabric that lines both sides of the draperies. We just told our drapery people what we wanted and they custom made them (and the hardware) for us. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Maybe someone out there will read

Typically, most people match the stair rod with the actual carpet runner and not the spindles. If you take a look at the image in the below link you'll see that this person has wroght iron spindles but is using an antique brass stair rod which highlights the gold tones in the runner: http://www
