Does anyone know the paint colour used here in the bathroom?
I'd like to expand a bathroom by put the vanity/sink area under the stairs- but am concerned that it will feel too closed in- what do you think the minimum necessary height is?

"escalera" in Spanish. Nice escalera by the way :-) I like the wall as well. I did a wall finish about ten years ago with a similar concept but using a plaster and a custom fabricated notch trowel. It was based on a finish at a chapel on the Seattle University campus. It's worth stopping in to see if you're

What color are these walls and what type of finish?
I am also interested to know the paint color and finish of the walls. Thank you!
I have not seen your final work so it's hard for me to judge. The safer route is the latter of your choices. I would try to go for a smooth finish knowing that you will have a bigger market wanting that particular look on the walls. Regarding the sharp corners, they are not difficult to replace except
used in a lot of houses in different rooms. You would probably see this in a bathroom.
with a finished surface ready for paint or paper, you'd first nail on small strips of wood called laths, then put on several different layers of plaster. The work was time consuming and difficult to master. Today you'll be hard pressed to find anyone installing a traditional plaster finish from scratch

If using darker colors consider un finished and finish with oil for best results to avoid fogging of polyurethane finishes. Floating, my preference
