Can you describe how these stair treads were constructed? I don't see any end grain showing.
I am trying to build a similar stair case, but not sure how to get the clean look of these chunky stair treads. Most stair builders I talk to
the top/bottom of the stair tread, the face grain is on the long sides, and the end grain is facing out on the short sides of the tread. I'm not sure how this will look using white oak lumber.
