How does this floor color hold up against
Professional Opinion: Try several colors and look at them over the course of the day to see how the light in the room changes and pick the one YOU like. Keep in mind that in the end there will be furniture and a few area rugs so you will never

Is there an app or a place somewhere, that I can send a picture of my existing kitchen and see how it looks with different colors?
How can I get plans for this
Since there isn't a front support for the stair how does the design keep the middle of the stair from bowing down over time. I love this idea by the way!
How do you keep the lip of the drawer closed so there are no "trips"

Can you describe how these stair treads were constructed? I don't see any end grain showing.
I am trying to build a similar stair case, but not sure how to get the clean look of these chunky stair treads. Most stair builders I talk to
the top/bottom of the stair tread, the face grain is on the long sides, and the end grain is facing out on the short sides of the tread. I'm not sure how this will look using white oak lumber.
How do you tighten the cables of the railing?
love this cable railing and how it lets the stone really take center stage.

Painting different colors and how to transition?
I don't know how to transition from room to room with different color palette (ie. gray in rooms but neutral tan in hallway). Any general rule of thumb?

mounted railing in a stairwell in my home. Please share how this was constructed!
How are the rails attached to the wood facia?
I'm sure the guy who wrote this is Howard Nash of Nash and Baker London. How did he change the name so he doesn't get the bad publicity.???
I love how the wall quote tells a "speaks" to the photographs around it.

Also how are the attached to the studs? Congratulations on such a beautiful design!
How is this flooring held down?
How do you get the light color on the OSB stairs? Thanks!
thanks! We are doing a floor with avantech and were just looking for ideas of how to keep the finish lighter.
I'm not sure how this was attached actually. I know that there are no exposed fasteners. I would suspect they have been glued and nailed with a brad nailer. I would suggest the same for
how about using cross bracing in front of translucent walls, as shown here? Walls don't have to be solid and opaque.
this is how you save some money with urban styling
In homes, exposed structural elements are typically reserved for the roof and floor framing. But how about using cross bracing in front of translucent walls, as shown here? Walls don't have to be solid and opaque.

little darker, or is that just the lighting? How is the paint holding up? I'm getting ready to do the same, but I'm thinking of doing the treads with a 2-part epoxy paint (that has some flexibility for wood)? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

How do you choose the white? Should it be the same color as the trim? We are doing behr decorator white on our ceiling and trim. Could we do that for the stairs
I like how the stairs become apart of the room and don't look like they're getting in the way. this layout also gives a guest inviting feeling toward this side
The white stairs are striking and jump out. Love how they contrast with the wood.
not white steps, carpet banaster, but like how the end curves around to add detail to straight stairs.
