the wood and wood staining is the more expensive part.
I asked my brother, who is a general contractor, and he says it will vary wildly depending on where you live, but he estimates around $16,000 for the stairs and railings, including the iron.

question and sorry for the delay in answering but I wanted to get it right...The walls are Parker Paint 4850 Satin Glow as base
then Benjamin Moore "Morgan Hill Gold" and then sponged-on dark brown highlights. Not sure it it's a "style" but it does go nicely with the dark brown molding and millwork.
a faux marble finish...I don't remember exactly how they did it but it goes a little something like this: http://www.ehow.com/how_8090_faux-marble-plaster.html
thanks for the question!!
What type of marble was used for the flooring in this picture?
Thank you.
stringers and prior to sheetrock work would be in the 13-16k range. Until many more details are known it is very difficult to pin down an exact cost. The curved glass panels are going to be a huge cost as well. Depending on your style of house, you could easily have a curved stair of some type in a 4000sf
4000sf home and it not be out of proportion.
neat look with bottom and then glass and then wood rail
