“entire floor the lighter color first. Then tape off the pattern of your choosing, helps to create a template to reuse. Then stain the pattern a shade darker. Hope that helps!”

“these floors look a lot like my floors which are wide plank oak. I mixed red and white oak but I have to say I prefer the white oak (there wasn't enough white oak available at the mill when I did mine). White oak takes on this warm brown tone a lot better than red oak. The finish looks like Rubio”
“on my floors. It is EASY and GREEN and it is super durable. It doesn't have the shiny plastic that scratches. I have 3 kids, a large dog and a cat with claws and my floors take a lot of abuse but they look brand new with the monocoat. comes in lots of different colors, too.”
