The cabinetry was done in Brookhaven Bridgeport Oak in a Bistro finish and granite countertops. In the lounge area an older fireplace was removed and replaced with a Lennox direct-vent fireplace. Is that an ebony stain over Oak?
No stain at all. The floors and handrail are solid Walnut.
I have oak stairs and am currently having them redone. What color/brand should I use on them to achieve this black, glossy look? Thanks!
That's an ebony on oak or walnut in my opinion.

This was your typical suburban staircase with golden oak railings and balusters, and carpeted stair treads. The redo was completed by installing new wood treads, a new handrail and widening the bottom tread to create a more grand staircase. The custom entry light (designed by Jason Ball Interiors) helps

@risi - the floor is a finish in place oak floor. Solid oak (I believe red oak).
Jason, I love this staircase. I have 'Golden oak' on my first floor and I chose 'Provincial' on the treads of the staircase (Royal Mahogany on the banister). We have just replaced our carpet on the second floor hallway with oak. I think I should stay with the 'Provincial' (darker color)
