I'm trying to re-create this look for my house, but I can't figure out the pattern between scroll balusters and ball balusters. Thanks for you help.

The balusters came with the house in this instance. When we do renovate stairs we like to use a company called Iron and Wire here in Chicago.

Could you tell me the supplier for the balusters on this railing system? Thank you and beautiful work!
wood rail and newel, nickel baluster, white walls
No collar. Vertical metal balusters. Posts blend in. If didn't have a post what would we do at the corner upstairs?
Love the balusters and the railing!
I like the Carpeted staircase and maybe instead of using Iron balusters I could use a window-box half wall

Did you drill into the handrail and then secure the balusters with glue or is there some kind of a bracket that was used to secure the balusters to the handrail?
treads have a simple finish; meaning they were not stained. The steel balusters were chemically treated to achieve their darkened patina.
The treads are very close to 5" in thickness. The handrail is supported by the many steel balusters that march up the stair (to form the balustrade).
We are doing a staircase like this right now. Our treads are locally flat sawn ash 2+ inches thick with wrought iron balusters and oak rail.
The balusters are 1/2" x 1/2" square steel pickets. They support a 1 1/2" x 3/8" steel railing, which is capped with 2" x 3" or 4" mesquite (not sure which dimension
